The store, in the Glebe, will reopen on Christmas Eve after a fire destroyed it on January 10.
The blaze was contained to the rear of the store.
The fire was reported about 10:30pm on January 11.
Fire crews from the city’s fire service were called to the Gleb after receiving reports of a fire at the store in the early hours of January 11, 2017.
They were able to contain the blaze to the building’s rear.
The Glebe fire service confirmed they received a report of a blaze in the store at about 12:00am on January 12, 2017 and that there was smoke from the fire.
“At this stage, the fire is under control and no-one is in imminent danger,” a statement from the Glebi Fire Service read.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, and it is unclear whether it was the result of arson.
A post-mortem examination is currently being conducted to establish the cause of death.
The store will be open until December 30, 2017 to celebrate the holiday season.
